Mattress Size Dimensions:

Twin Size (38" x 75")

Twin size mattresses are great for single sleepers and can save space in an apartment, dorm, or smaller bedroom. Twin size mattresses are the smallest standard size. Although they are not for sharing but are great for less active sleepers who don't need a spacious sleeping surface. Shop Twin Size Mattresses.

Twin XL (38" x 80")

Twin XL size mattresses, also known as Twin Long, are great for taller sleepers who need the extra length but still want to preserve room in an apartment, bedroom or dorm room. Twin XL mattresses are not big enough for sharing but are great for teens and tall adults.  Twin XL mattresses are the same width as a Twin, but 5 inches longer. Shop Twin XL Mattresses.

Full (54" x 75")

Full size mattresses are also known as Double Size and are designed for a sleeper who prefers larger than a twin size. Full size mattresses are great for smaller bedrooms, kids beds and guest rooms with less space available. It used to be that a full size mattress was the most popular for couples and then the queen size was created and became more popular. If it is a matter of space where a Queen size won't fit, then a full size is the way to go. It's also a great size for kids during their teen years, and could become a great guest bed size once they leave for college. Shop Full Size Mattresses.

Queen     (60" x 80")

Queen size mattresses are the preferred size for most couples. As the most popular size, a queen mattress can help couples sleep better with more personal space than a full size. A Queen size mattress is great for maximizing floor space while still allowing enough sleep area. Queen size is the most common size for master bedrooms. Shop Queen Size Mattresses

King     (76" x 80")

King size mattresses are made for couples who want a luxurious amount of space. You may want to measure the floor space to ensure that a king size will fit in the bedroom. King size mattresses are the largest of standard size mattresses and are the most expensive. It is proven that people sleep better on a larger size mattress because sleep partners are less likely to interrupt each others' sleep. The extra size is well worth the extra money. California King     (72" x 84")

California King size mattresses are 4 inches narrower and 4 inches longer than a standard king size. Great for tall people or for couples who already have a Cal King size bed frame. The Cal King is the longest of standard size mattresses. 12 inches wider than a Queen size, the Cal King size still offers plenty of extra room for sharing and great for tall people. Your bed frame is the foundation and provides support and stability. If your frame does not provide sufficient support, including center support, then your mattress and box spring may experience abnorbal wear and tear that would not be covered under warranty. To ensure proper support, it is recommended to have a minimum of 1-3 center supports on full size and larger bed frames, and a minimum of 3 slats when paired with a box spring, or a minimum of 10 slats with a gap of less than 4 inches apart when not using a foundation. Adjustable bed bases take the place of the box spring and metal frame, and provide exceptional support. Adjustable bed bases require minor assembly and are very heavy.
